Our stay at Meadhaven was wonderful for our family of 4 including 2 young children. Anne and Will were super accommodating, evening providing gluten free biscuits for my husband. The house was warm, clean and welcoming on arrival. Lots of little touches including board games, a fresh loaf of bread, butter milk, jam. Everything you could need was already thought of! Lovely bathroom with fab power shower. Beds were super comfy with a great nights sleep. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Close proximity to Longleat for The Festival of Light. Thanks Anne and Will, we will be back!

Anne met us on arrival and talked us through a few details with the property. It was immaculate and I could see Anne has put a lot of time and effort on presentation. There were some supplies of milk, bread, butter and other items left for us along with tea and coffee. The property is gorgeous, the perfect size for a family of 4 and we would recommend Anne and her property without hesitation.

We spent a great five days in Meadhaven; it was warm and cosy, the beds were comfy and everything was very thoughtfully organised, especially the 'treats' - we like 'treats'!
We particularly appreciated staying next to the owner's property: Anne and Will were friendly and helpful and we felt very much at home. We had intended to eat at the village pub but never quite made it there because we were so comfortable in Meadhaven. Hopefully we will during next year's Somerset visit. All in all, it was a perfect few days in lovely surroundings. Thank you.

We had a wonderful extended stay at Meadhaven in June-July. The cottage was extremely well equipped - comfortable beds, a lovely shower, a bath & high chair for the children, and everything we needed in the kitchen too. Location wise, we loved the easy trips to Bruton, Frome and Glastonbury for Glastonbury festival. Anne was a brilliant host - thoughtful, helpful and very friendly. We highly recommend the cottage and will hopefully be returning in the future.

I booked my friends a stay at Meadhaven for a weekend. The cottage was very comfortable, self contained with all the modern amenities they needed for their stay. Anne welcomed them and very kindly provided them with bread, milk etc. A quiet and Idyllic area of Somerset. Highly recommended and they look forward to returning again.

We had an amazing time at Meadhaven. Hidden away in a village in the stunning Somerset countryside, this beautifully renovated barn exceeded our expectations. The new kitchen and bathroom were top-notch, and the quiet bedrooms provided a restful retreat. The living area was cozy and we appreciated the TV and Wi-Fi. We also loved the private courtyard area and the close parking. Anne and Will, our hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend Meadhaven to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming place to explore Somerset. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean with lots of little details. We really appreciated the welcome treats and comprehensive local information. Our children loved having a range of board games to play and the comfy beds! Very attentive hosts and would definitely love a return visit.

Such a lovely place. We booked some family in who were spending time in the area (to be a near us - we live a couple of villages away). They had the most wonderful time. Peaceful and charming. Very well thought through. Close to Frome and Bruton. So much to enjoy in the area. Meadhaven is just lovely and so well done. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

Beautiful cottage, well maintained, comfortable & spotlessly clean. Situated in a quiet village just perfect for a relaxing stay. A lovely holiday home for us to return to after great days out to Longleat , cheddar caves , Castle Cary & even the seaside ( Burnham on Sea) But also near enough to Frome Glastonbury etc if you don't want to travel too far. The owners are friendly, & helpful but unobtrusive. Kitchen very well equipped which is always a plus. Private garden area. Comfy beds. Quality linen & towels. Looking forward to returning.

Meadhaven is a lovely, cosy and clean cottage. Anne, the host was very welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated the goodies left for us for tea when we arrived. We had great weather! From the cottage, we reached Longleat in about 20 mins and had a fantastic day.. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant cottage. Clean ,tidy, well laid out. Lovely attention to detail. Great place to stay for days out , cheddar gorge, Stonehenge etc. Want to go to Frome but we didn't get chance. Lovely and peaceful. Neighbours freindly.The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay. We will return in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay here at Meadhaven. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the lovely owner, Anne. She showed us into the property and allowed us to get promptly settled. The property itself it absolutely immaculate. Everything was so clean and welcoming, Anne kindly left us some local fresh bread, milk and little snacks. The cottage was furnished with everything you need, from coffee to an ironing board. What I liked the most was how effective the heating and hot water was. If heated up very quickly and provided me with lovely hot water for my bath. The bed was so so comfortable and really eased my back pain on this trip. I have to stay I’m quite a fussy and anxious person so I don’t often feel relaxed at a property straight away or usually find one or two things I’m not happy with but not here, it was perfect! We have already decided to re book and return to this wonderful property. Thank you for having us!
